Freewrite

Freewrite makes distraction-free writing tools for people who take the craft seriously, and the design language has to match that. I've been working with their team at Astrohaus on a few products in the lineup, with the Wordrunner being the most visible so far.

The Wordrunner is a fully mechanical keyboard with a built-in word counter mechanism, something that didn't exist before and needed to be figured out from scratch. I worked closely with the founder to nail down the industrial design, CMF, logo mark, and packaging, basically everything that gives the product its personality on shelf and in hand.

It's a product for people who care deeply about how they work, and that made it a pretty natural fit.
