Outlier

Outlier is one of those brands that takes the details seriously in a way that's pretty rare in fashion. They've been making some of my favorite everyday staples out of Brooklyn for years, so getting to design with them felt like a natural overlap.

We developed two iterations of a paracord belt built around a 3D printed infinitely adjustable hook mechanism. The first, the Polyamour Swanhook Belt, pairs polyamide webbing and hollow paracord with a nickel-plated steel printed hook. The second, the Doubleswanhook Belt, pushes further with a custom colorway 550 paracord and a fully printed nylon adjustment mechanism.

Both belts are the kind of object that rewards close inspection. Simple premise, a lot of thought underneath.
